FRANKLIN — Franklin High School seniors recently visited the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) to share original children’s books they created in their Children’s Literature class.
The visit was part of a growing partnership between FHS and the ECDC over the past three years.
On Thursday, April 2, students from Melanie Pavao’s class visited both ECDC locations. The seniors read their stories to the young learners, who listened with curiosity and excitement to tales about bravery, sharing feelings, and going on adventures.
While the project was a formal class assignment, students enjoyed the chance to engage directly with children and bring their creations to life.
"We are so lucky to expand our partnership with Franklin High School by welcoming more of their students into our learning environment," said Kim Taylor, Principal of the F.X. O'Regan Early Childhood Development Center. "It’s a wonderful way to connect the youngest and oldest members of the Franklin Public Schools community."
